The County Officials Orientation Program provides county officials, both newly elected and re-elected, with important information to help prepare you to assume office on September 1. Topics include county offices and authority, oaths and bonds, personnel issues, ethics, conflicts of interest, open meetings and records.

No registration is required. All newly elected and re-elected officials are automatically registered — simply check in when you arrive.

Incumbents: An invoice for the incumbent fee will be sent after the event.

*As of September 1, 2018, newly elected or appointed county legislative body members are required to complete orientation training provided by CTAS within 120 days of their election or appointment. T.C.A. § 5-5-113.
