Clint joined UT CTAS in January 2023 after 30 years in law enforcement, including two terms as Grundy County sheriff. He was named Tennessee Sheriff of the Year in 2020 and is a recipient of the J. Stannard Baker Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Sheriffs' Association. Clint holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University and an M.A. in Leadership and Public Service from Lipscomb University.  He is a certified jail manager and a graduate of the National Sheriffs’ Institute.
