Friendly Reminder: CPA Recertification Deadline Approaching June 30, 2026

News Date
Graphic reading “Recertification Deadline: June 30” above a desk scene with a laptop and coffee mug, a calendar with a checked date, a signed certificate with a ribbon seal, and a clock.

This is a reminder to Certified Public Administrators (CPAs) renewing their certification this year. There will no longer be a grace period to complete recertification requirements. The annual deadline is June 30. All required hours must be completed by this date, and all renewal fees must be received by the close of business on June 30 to qualify for the incentive payment and inclusion on the eligibility list submitted to the Tennessee Department of Treasury.

CPAs should also review their profile information in K@TE to confirm accuracy. The State of Tennessee requires that your official government name match what appears on your I-9, so nicknames or shortened versions cannot be used. If your name, mailing address, or email address has changed, please complete the Profile Update webform in K@TE so we can update your profile. Incorrect or outdated information may delay communication or payment.
