The Office of Criminal Justice Programs (OCJP) is pleased to announce that the rolling Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) grant solicitation is now officially posted in Tennessee's new grants management system, TN Grants. The solicitation is also accessible through the OCJP website, giving prospective applicants multiple convenient pathways to apply.
Given the remaining time and funding available under the current EBP appropriation, contracts awarded through this solicitation will cover a one-year performance period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The maximum liability has been set at $200,000 per contract to ensure that funded projects can be realistically implemented within the available timeframe. OCJP is actively working to pursue additional funding beyond this current opportunity.
Because this is a rolling solicitation, there is no hard application deadline — however, agencies wishing to secure a July 1, 2026 start date are strongly encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible. Early submission will be critical to allowing adequate time for review and contracting.
A coordination meeting is being scheduled to check in with prospective applicants, including Union County, and to discuss application timelines so that clearer guidance can be provided to agencies planning for FY27.
