CTAS and MTAS Consultants Present at Inaugural Tennessee Association of Property and Evidence Conference

The inaugural conference of the Tennessee Association of Property and Evidence (TAPE) was held in Nashville on November 3rd, bringing together professionals from across the state to discuss best practices in evidence management and property control.
 
Among the featured presentations was a collaborative session led by CTAS Criminal Justice Consultants Clint Shrum and Derrick Woods, alongside MTAS Police Management Consultants David Moore and Jeff Stiles. Their joint presentation focused on the management and disposal of sensitive property and evidence, with particular emphasis on firearms and vehicles. Approximately 70 attendees participated in the session, representing a range of law enforcement agencies and evidence management professionals.
 
The University of Tennessee’s County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS) and Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) continue to support local governments and law enforcement agencies across the state through training, research, and consultation aimed at enhancing professional standards and operational excellence.
