Applications are now open for the Jim & Marie Murphy Endowed Scholarship for the 2025–26 academic year. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students affiliated with the County Officials Association of Tennessee (COAT) or the County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS) who are pursuing a degree at any campus in the University of Tennessee System.
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be either:
- A current COAT member or CTAS employee, or
- A legally qualified dependent (child, grandchild, etc.) of a COAT member or CTAS employee.
Students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees are eligible, but selection preference will be given to those pursuing graduate-level studies, demonstrating financial need or academic success, or continuing as a current scholarship recipient.
