WHEREAS, County has purchased land at tax sales; and,
WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-5-2507(b)(1), provides a committee of four (4) members shall be elected by the county legislative body, from the county legislative body, who, together with the county executive, shall place a fair price on each tract of land, for which price the same shall be sold. (In counties having adopted the provisions of Title 5, Chapter 21, the County Financial Management System Act of 1981, the Financial Management Committee created by Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 5-21-104, may serve as this committee as established in this subdivision);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislative Body meeting in session on this day of , 20 , that:
SECTION 1. The following members shall comprise the committee:
SECTION 2. Such committee shall be charged with the duties specified in Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-5-2507.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon passage, the public welfare requiring it.
