CTAS Sponsors Language Services for Counties Across Tennessee

News Date

Earlier this year, CTAS announced its partnership with the Tennessee Language Center (TLC) to provide FREE language services to county officials and employees in Tennessee. Services include language classes, written translation, and spoken interpretation.

Spoken Interpretation

Spoken interpretation services include phone system recordings, video-remote connections, in-person interpreters, and 24-hour telephonic interpretation. Telephonic interpretation can be especially helpful to officials and employees who need to communicate with customers who have a limited English proficiency. CTAS and TLC are here to help!

Get Started with Telephonic Interpretation Quickly and Easily by Taking the Following Steps:

  1. Contact TLC at (615) 741-7579.
  2. Let them know you are a county official and you wish to participate in telephonic interpretation services sponsored by CTAS.
  3. TLC will confirm your information with CTAS and provide you with a personal identification number (PIN ).
  4. Once you have a PIN, follow the steps outlined in the Telephonic Interpretation Services Brochure linked here and receive interpretation services free of charge within seconds.
