Environmental Information
The CTAS environmental staff work with technical experts at the University of Tennessee and with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) to assist counties in the evaluation and implementation of diverse environmental programs and regulatory measures.
Consultants assist counties in evaluating and implementing environmental regulations, in developing and fine tuning solid waste management systems, the production of solid waste needs assessments, cooperative marketing, storm water compliance, budgeting, personnel management, technology transfers, and in the development of environmental training and workshops.
